This is a simple ultrasound based test that gives information about the stage of liver disease.
Elastography or Fibroscan assesses the degree of Liver Fibrosis by ultrasound based technology. You need to come 2 hours fasting for this procedure. The duration of procedure is 5-10 min, no injections or sedation is needed for this.
